Reception Teaching Assistant
Monarch Education are currently seeking a Part-time level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a 2 form entry school in the South Birmingham area.
The school located in Quinton in the South Birmingham area, are looking to appoint a Reception Assistant to work alongside the class teacher and to provide additional support to the pupils
As an Reception Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for helping the pupils to fulfil their daily activities and task. You will be delivering activities to small groups which is set by the class teacher as well as supporting pupils on a 1:1 Basis.
The ideal candidate would be committed and have the willingness to promote learning making lessons interactive and engaging to maintain a positive and supportive school environment. The school are looking for a candidate who is fully committed to the success criteria of the school and its children's learning and progress.
The role is to start ASAP two days a week, Monday and Tuesday and run until the end of the academic year with the potential to extend into the new academic year.
The ideal candidate would be/ have:
- CACHE 3 or Degree such as BA Hons Teaching support relevant
- Good Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience delivering Read, Write, Inc.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years reception class
