Job Description

Monarch Education are representing a Special school in North Cambridgeshire. They provide education for approximately 70 students with EHCP's from across Cambridgeshire. The school is part of a wider AcademyTrust with great opportunity for candidates to progress and work across the group.

This school operates a creative curriculum that offers a balance of learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom.

We are looking to recruit experienced, hardworking and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
The school will require experienced SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants who are:
*experienced supporting pupils or adults with challenging behaviour
*confident managing challenging behaviour in the classroom and using de-escalation techniques. Team-Teach / STEPS trained is not essential but would be a great advantage
*skilled working with pupils with academic tasks using their own interests to engage them in the curriculum
*able to demonstrate the impact you have had a child's progress and development

You would be joining a well established, supportive and welcoming SEN support team, where you would be well supported within your role and development would be highly encouraged.

If this sounds like the next step in your career then please send your CV along with a short cover letter describing why you would be perfect for the role to Monarch Education. You will then be contacted by one of our consultants.

We are committed to providing equal opportunities for all candidates as well as adhering to strict Safeguarding procedures. Your application will be subject to 2 references and an enhanced DBS check.
