Geography Teacher Required in Wiltshire for September 2018

We are looking for a qualified teacher of Geography to teach Geography at a very nice successful Secondary school in Wiltshire from September 2018. This is a full-time Geography teaching post however the school welcomes part-time applicants. It is a fixed term contract of 6 months but his has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role is to start on Monday 3rd September and the school welcomes applicants from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers of Geography. As a newly qualified teacher you would be supported with a reduced timetable and a professional mentor to support you in your professional development.

The timetable predominantly consists of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes but there may be the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 as the school has a thriving Sixth Form.

The school is a very successful secondary school set in beautiful Wiltshire with a very positive reputation within the community, including a reputation for strong discipline. It has been rated Ofsted 'Good' in all categories for the past four inspections. To be considered for this role you must:
* Hold QTS status
* Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Geography curriculum across Key Stage 3 and 4
* Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic Humanities Department
