Monarch Education are working with various secondary Schools in the Greater Manchester area and are looking for dedicated teaching assistants to start immediately on a temporary basis.
Ideally, the incoming teaching assistant will be enthusiastic TA who is looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school previously in either a paid or voluntary capacity, then this could be the ideal role for you.
Our schools vary from mainstream schools to special schools so the ideal candidate will have proven experience working in either sectors at secondary stage.
Most our schools are located in central locations for easy access and great transport links.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
* Minimum six months' experience
* Have an up to date DBS registered on the update service OR be willing to obtain one
* Able to provide a minimum of two relevant employment references
* Have experience working in secondary schools or with KS3 and KS4 students
* Ideal post for graduates wanting a career in teaching/education.
* Be dedicated and reliable
* Be available to start immediately
* SEN experience desirable but not essential
* Driving licence and access to own car desirable but not essential.
