SEN Teacher - Birmingham

Monarch Education are working with an SEN School in the Birmingham area, who are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to work Full Time alongside pupils with a range of behavioural challenges and SEN.

This School requires an SEN Teacher who has a background in SEN Support to start ASAP until the end of the academic year on a full time basis, with potential to be kept on from September. The ideal candidate will build professional and effective relationships with both pupils, parents and their colleagues to promote the pupils through their stages of development.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Experienced in a SEMH / SEN Setting.
  • It is essential that you have QTS and are experienced in an Education setting.
  • Ability to work with a combination of pupils and adapt to each of their individual needs - providing support to the children with their learning, physical or behavioural difficulties.
  • Have up to date Team Teach Training (preferable - not essential)
  • Following the schools Primary National Curriculum and enforcing the policies and procedures throughout your lessons.
  • Hold a friendly and positive approach to your work ethic - making the pupils feel confident in the work / activities they are partaking in.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education Setting.
