Year 2 Teacher

Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Primary School in the Sheldon area of Birmingham to find a Year 2 Teacher to start after February half term until the end of the academic year 2024. This role will be full time, 5 days a week and planning will be involved.

Requirements of applicant:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Previous experience teaching children in required
  • Outstanding knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Passion for teaching children and achieving results

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality teaching and support for children in Year 2
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to promote learning and development
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines

Salary: £110 – 160 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
